 League Rules & Gameplay Scoring All matches use Rally Scoring, meaning a point is awarded on every serve, regardless of which team served. Sets are played to 21 points. A team must win by at least 2 points. There is no one-point victory. Serving The server must make contact with the ball from behind the end line. A served ball that contacts the net and continues over into the opponent's court remains in play. Net Play Any player who contacts the net while the ball is in play will result in a loss of rally and point. Players may cross beneath the net provided they do not interfere with the opposing team's ability to play the ball. Blocking A legal block does not count as one of the team's three allotted contacts. Teams may still use up to three additional touches after a block. Co-Ed League Requirements Team Composition Co-ed teams must have a minimum of two female players on the court at all times. Failure to meet this requirement may result in forfeiture or league-designated penalties.
